And it's nice to watch games that have real meaning for the first time in years. That's why, personally, I consider this season a success even if Washington misses the playoffs. Boudreau is now in place as the coach and seems to have the ability to get this team to win games. Green, Backstrom and Laich have all significantly exceeded expectations and other young players like Schultz, Semin, Fehr and Lepisto are playing well too. If the Capitals can just get Huet and Kolzig re-signed their goaltending should be very solid for next season and it should be even more exciting to root for the Caps. If you’ve each touched on an important point: it’s fun to be a Capitals fan again. And it’s nice to watch games that have real meaning for the first time in years.

Ther is no more fun team to watch in the NHL than Boudreau's Caps.
